We produce heavy-duty brazed diamond tools by using a three-layer structure of diamond-carbide-metal coated diamond, selecting a new type of brazing material, and utilizing a high-vacuum brazing process.

The carbide coated diamond interlayer compensates for the defects in the diamond and improves the strength and sharpness of the diamond. The outer layer of metal improves the wettability with the brazing material and enhances the holding power of the diamond. New brazing compounds improve wear resistance of brazing alloys. At the same time, the existence of diamond coating layer is helpful to prevent the oxidation and graphitization of diamond during brazing and use, slow down the thermal damage, which significantly extends the durability of diamond, so that the life of brazing tools increased by more than 50 percent.
